NEIC holds its Annual Awards Dinner in April

The American Institute of Chemists (AIC) annually awards certificates of achievement to senior undergraduates and/or graduate students who demonstrate an outstanding record of achievement, ability, leadership, and character. To honor these undergraduate and graduate student awardees, the New England Institute of Chemists (NEIC) presents the certificates to them at the NEIC Awards Dinner held each spring.

In January, the national office of the AIC asks for nominations.  Departments may nominate one student, undergraduate and graduate, from each field of chemistry, biochemistry, and chemical engineering.  Our schedule for the award dinner requires that the nominations be submitted along with the AIC nomination form BEFORE the AIC deadline.  Therefore, we request that you submit your undergraduate and/or graduate nomination on two forms as follows:

  • to the NEIC Students Award Chairperson, Dr. Jerry Jasinski, Department of Chemistry, Keene State College, Keene, NH 03435-2001 on  the NEIC Student Award Nominee Information Form.  Please send this form to him before March 31, 2016 even if you do not have a nominee for this year.

The AIC will send the award certificate to the NEIC for presentation at the Awards Dinner.

The NEIC Awards Dinner will be held at Brandeis University on April 21, 2016. Click here to link to the Reservation Form, and the Program Schedule and Directions to Brandeis University.
